This violin bow was made in the Marc Laberte workshop in Mirecourt, France circa 1930. It is a round stick, branded “LeClerc” and is made of medium brown pernambuco wood. Approximate length is 72.9cm. Frog is ebony with silver mountings and inlaid pearl eye; the button is also ebony, with two silver rings and an inlaid pearl eye. The stick itself is on the stronger side with excellent response and energy. Comes with a certificate of authenticity from Salchow & Sons Bowmakers in New York, NY.
