Violin bow by Arthur Thoma

Arthur Thoma was born in 1905, second son of Adolf. Worked at Hohendorf near Brambach (Saxony). Bows modelled on the standard prototypes-pernambuco sticks. Taught by father, Adolf. Splendid bows, stamped "Arthur Thoma".From the German & Austrian Voilin Makers Karel Jalovec. Son and pupll of Adolf T. Bow-maker who established himself independently in 1931. He passed his master's test in 1938. Good work. His bows are branded ARTHUR THOMA.
